My Checklist

1. Main Sail:

-- Boom Position (goose neck at mark)

-- Sail (fold on boom with battens parallel to boom)

-- Halyard (attach to starboard shroud cleat)

-- Sheet (coil and hand from main sheet block)

2. Hanked-on Jib (Catalina 22):

-- Sail: fold perpendicular to leech: store in bags,

-- Sheet: coil and store with sail

-- Halyard (attach to jib tack shackle at bow)

3. Roller Furler Jib (Capri 22):

-- Proper furling line tension

-- Troubleshooting procedures (Do NOT use winch on roller furling line)

4. Return PFDs and boat hook to storage locations in boat

5. Reset engine position so that it is out of the water.

6. Reconnect shore power or position solar panel. Ensure all electrical switches are turned off.

7. Double check porta potty!

8. Final boat packing

-- Cover boom and tiller.

-- Close and lock boat; attach cover.

-- Forward and aft spring lines

-- Hose down boat: Be sure to hose down all exposed blocks and the engine
