4. Using a buoy at the center, sail large figure “8’s” (about 100’ wide by 200’ long) in line with the wind, not perpendicular to it, clockwise and counterclockwise. Each general point of sail must be maintained for at least 10 seconds, buoy must be no more than a half boat length away while being passed.
